Thar She Blows

Wind and Waves (DOL-A-3730)
Village of Wellington channel marker.

The phrase “Thar She Blows” is what the lookout on a whaling ship would shout when he saw a whale surface and blow out its blow-hole.  The photo is obviously not about whales, but the phrase did lend itself to the image I captured on that windy day.

Linked to the infamous meme:

Have a great day!

Beautiful shot! It's so vivid I can almost smell the salty air and feel the spray -
That is one dramatic shot, I can almost feel the spray of water on my face.

I just saw your name on a blog comment. Do you also do Flickr? I think you may have posted a comment or two on my stream, but I can't find it now.

Amazing shot of the waves! Beautiful to looks the color of the waves dashing the post, getting scattered, a bird flying over...
