Moments of Serenity

Take a few minutes to relax your mind.

Muted Bliss

The School Bus

I was walking home after a search for Snowy Owls (came up empty) and could hear a vehicle approaching from the west.  As it crested the knoll I instantly recognized it was a school bus.
The school bus had the appearance that it was exiting a tunnel.  The weather was grey and gloomy and a slight rain was coming down which I thought created an interesting mood and look.

Water, Snow and Ice

The Glenora Ferry operates all year long and the service is provided free of charge.  It serves as the western terminus of the Glenora Ferry, which connects the two shores between Glenora (Prince Edward County) and Adolphustown as part of the Loyalist Parkway.

Snow Days

This winter has been a snowy one here in the County.  Folks who have lived here for quite some time have remarked it has been both colder and snowier.  Most weather forecasts have been way off when it comes to accumulation.  Recently we had a 5-day stretch where it snowed each day. Snow squalls, streamers and lake effect snow.

On some days, visibility was next to zilch... where sadly accidents occurred and police closed some roads to mitigate further problems.

Backyard Beauties!

Have a wonder filled day.

Time to Fly

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.

“You wanna fly, you got to give up the shit that weighs you down.”

“People have to forgive.  We don't have to like them, we don't have to be friends with them, we don't have to send them hearts in text messages, but we have to forgive them, to overlook, to forget.  Because if we don't we are tying rocks to our feet, too much for our wings to carry!”

That's Juvenile

Another weather front was blowing wet snow with rain expected later in the evening... far from ideal weather conditions for photography.  More snow is expected on Wednesday.

Have yourselves a wonderful Sunday.
