This particular House Wren has been busy inspecting some of the birdhouses on our property.

The piker will select all three. He will fill two with twigs so nobody else can use them and then use one for himself.

Mrs. Chatterbox and I watch a TV show on the Home and Garden channel called House Hunters, where a couple is shown three houses by a realtor and they select one. This bird likewise will have difficulty picking from three great real estate choices.

Oh how cute with his/her head poking out of the hole. Our wrens nest in the wire cover at the top of the electric pole.
