snoW, SnOw, sNow, SNOW...

We exceeded the expected amount of snowfall 15cm / 6 inches and received 60+cm / 24 inches.  Linda and I shared the task of clearing our long rural driveway.  Thank goodness we have a snow-thrower.

Here are some shots and a short video taken from our patio door.  They were taken early in the day.

Lovely to see the snow falling. Sadly we have missed having any real snow thus far.

60 cm of snow at one time is too much. However it did give you the opportunity to get some different shots of the same birds.

Wow! You got a good whack of snow. At least you are making it easier for the birds to survive the winter.

I think you got everyone's share of the snow. Hardly a flake here on the other side of the bay bridge.

Oh Daniel I must admit I am a little jealous we only received about 3cm :(
I was looking forward to snowshoeing but I think that is still on hold.
Your photos and the video are amazing.
I bet after the work of cleaning it up it is so beautiful. I would be outside right now. B

Oh my goodness!
For once we were way overestimated, and just got a dusting of the expected foot or more. so very cold now though.

Your snowstorm sure made for some really beautiful photographs, and the birds look like they are doing just fine. :-)
Oh my stars! Those poor birds. How do they survive?
