Petroglyphs Provincial Park

As we drove through, we stopped a few times to take some shots from the road.  It is a beautiful area and worthy of being explored.  That said, there are so many beautifully places to see I'd need multiple life times just to scratch the surface.

I'm Happy Sugar Socks!  What's your Elf name?

sugarplum superplum? ugh! i hate plums! :)

fine frozen fog in the first photo.

@ TexWizGirl: maybe your plums were soaked overnight in your favourite spirit making them especially perky with the addition of cherries, grenadine, pomegranate seeds and a dash of lemon juice added to crushed ice... shaken but not stirred. It's called Yuletide Slippery Special.

The new heavy snow has given you some photographic opportunities and you made the best of it.
The snow makes for a very peaceful scene.

My youngest has been singing "Winter Wonderland" for days and then you posted photos of just that. The world really is wondrous. I hope you get to as many of those places as possible in your lifetime. As always, thanks for sharing your photos and experience with this armchair traveller. Warm wishes
Ha! I'm Merry Peppermint. I like that. :) Hope your Christmas was merry and bright. Best wishes for the coming year. The photos are spectacular!

Oh that looks just lovely. I've wandered around there in the summer over 20 years ago and now I know I'd like to return.

I hope that you and yours had a very lovely Christmas.

Your friend,
