Short on Sunlight

I'm not a fan of the short days of light.  If I could control when the sun would set I'd compromise with Mother Nature and suggest between 7:30 and 8:30 PM.

I wish you had more influence with Mother Nature, Daniel. I think *:30 is a great time for the sun to set. :)

This is a beauty!

OH, I meant 8:30...but you knew that, didn't you?

beautiful gold, no matter when it appears/disappears.

The long dark days are too cold along with the lack of sunlight. I like at least a 12 hour day so that I don't feel I am eating dinner at midnight. Lovely sunset.

Not much to argue about here though. What a gorgeous photo. One good thing about the light at this time of the year is that it's always interesting.. always slanted.. never boring directly overhead sun.

Love the sunset but I absolutely agree with wanting longer days.

Love the Rembrandt gold in your picture. That's your older signature isn't it. Is this recent or from your files?
Wow, those rays are incredible. And the bare trees make a nice silhouette. I'm with you on the short days. Boo to that.

That is gorgeous!

The sun is setting here at around 3 in the afternoon - far too early!
What a beautiful sunset. I love the sprays of light from the sun. Yes another week and we will be over the hump and the days will be getting longer.
