Autumn by Road and Rail

Most of us have experienced a road trip or two and perhaps travelled by rail too.  Reminds me of a rail trip I did when I was just a young innocent 17 year old.  I travelled with two female friends to New York city.  Oh the memories of my youth. lol

Travelling is an enriching experience no matter where you go.  Even visiting neighbouring towns can be a memorable time.  Just remember to enjoy the journey and savour the moments. :)

I always had a fantasy of just hitting the road and seeing where it took me, but it never took me beyond my driveway. Someday.

My sister and I traveled by train from Illinois to New Jersey the year I graduated from high school. It was a fun experience so long ago. Thanks for the memories.

Excellent advice, I do try to savour the moments. The journey is often more exciting than the destination. ;)

Love these pathways, especially the roadway, which has a painting quality about it.

What beautiful Autumn shots, Daniel! I have to agree, I love our drives out to the country or down to the beach... just to get out and enjoy nature.
Very nice. I am a Canadian so I just put my fall pictures in and others selections.

I am going to add you.

Then come back to your site later. I love photography myself.
I find nothing more beautiful then an open lane lined with fall colors. Both you photos gave me that.
