Singing the Blues

DOL-A-7969
Indigo Bunting - click here for song.

Edited in Photoshop Lightroom 4.1
Canon EOS 5D Mark III with Sigma 70-200mm
F-stop: 7.1
ISO Speed: ISO-400
Exposure time: 1/400sec.

Subject was located somewhere in a corn field; I focused on the distinct song until I was able to locate it.
It was a surprise find because I was shooting a nearby Osprey nest.

Tip: when you're out taking photos, listen to the sounds around you.  You might discover something special!

I've been considering writing a post asking readers to identify the most vivid shade of blue they've ever seen. This indigo bunting certainly fits the bill.
