In Memory of Anita

In memory of my sister, Anita.

She was a mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.

My sister passed away in August 2011 from Ovarian Cancer; she was only 47 years old.

The pain never truly stops, does it? I had that same poem printed for my brother's memorial in 2008 - so sorry for your loss. There is something so tragic about a life lost that early. Prayers and kind thoughts, Daniel.

A lovely remembrance. In certain regards I am thankful that my father chose to not have any type of 'memorial' so I am able to 'see' him just as this poem relates...and as I remember him. God bless you for loving your sister and holding her tight in your heart and also for perhaps saving some lives with your links. May your sadness encourage you to see the beauty that is ours to enjoy every day, every minute...and treasure it.

Beautiful tribute, Daniel. My heart goes out to you and your family. They say time heals, I think perhaps it's just a band-aid.
